Each time you level up a Confidant, you will increase the potential Arcana Bursts in future fusions. This is essentially a massive explosion of experience bestowed upon the new Persona after it is created. If you create a Persona with the same arcana as a confidant, you will gain what is called an Arcana Burst. As such, he is linked to other Personas with the Chariot Arcana. For example, Ryuji is the Chariot confidant. Each Persona belongs to a specific Arcana type. However, there is a neat way around the leveling restriction. Arcana Burst: Getting around the restrictions This means that you may have to pick and choose what you want to do - or, if you are patient, you can hold off on fusing two Personas together until you are a higher level. Now, this does come with a caveat: You are unable to fuse Personas that have a higher level than you are currently. The basic idea is this: Take two weak Personas, and combine them together to make a far stronger Persona. How fusion works (and how it doesnвЂ™t work) This is the simplest way to power yourself up quickly. Igor and the twin-wardens will allow you to fuse the power of your existing Personas into more powerful ones. If you fused them together, their two arcana would make an Emperor and the closest level Emperor at that level is Eligor, who just so happens to be at level 16 at its base level.Fusion is one of the earliest skills you will learn in Persona 5. This is helpful for when you're trying to fill out your Compendium or when you need a certain arcana Persona for a given Confidant.ДЇor example, a level 11 Apsaras ( Priestess) and a level 20 Yaksini ( Empress) would have an average level of about 16. With this and the average level calculation you can accurately predict what Persona you'd create. Use the chart to find what they'd create by finding the arcana that they intersect at. Below we've collected all of the possible results into one chart. For example, a Fool + Magician = Death, but a Judgement + Chariot will never create anything. Every pair of arcana either creates a specific arcana or does not create anything. So, in most cases, a level 4 and a level 6 would create something around a level 5.ДЇor the arcana, it gets a bit trickier, but it's nothing you can't handle, Trickster. It does not matter if your Arsene is level 79, it will still be treated as a level 1 in the calculation, so use that to your advantage.ДЇor the level of the Persona you create, its level will be around the average of the two levels used to create it. For Arsene, this is level 1 while for Vishnu it's 83. In other words, the lowest level you can obtain them at. When fusing, Personas are treated as their base level. The level you see, however, might not be the one you need to worry about. The two things you need to keep in mind are the levels and arcana you're dealing with. Around 90%+ of the Personas in the game can be fused through a normal fusion. Out of the list above, only Basic Fusions aren't very straightforward since there are so many different possibilities. You can automatically unlock this by visiting the Velvet Room on 9/19 or later. This requires an online connection and can only be used once per in-game day. Select one Persona and let it randomly transform into another Persona. This can be automatically unlocked in early August or later by visiting the Velvet Room. Take one Persona and an applicable transmutable object and create a new accessory, weapon, protector, or Skill Card. This can be automatically unlocked in the first few months of the game by visiting the Velvet Room. EXP bonus for same arcana or Jewel Persona and more EXP for higher levels. This can only be used on a given Persona once per day, but on as many Personas as you want.

Take three or more specific Personas to create one specific powerful Persona. Don't worry, though!
